Review: Knock off Bee James Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway.

From the episode where James was painted like a bee. This is Wooden Bee James except this one is a knock-off clone copy.

At first look the train doesn't look too bad, after picking it up you can feel the quality of it. The first thing you will notice is the graininess of the toy. The paint feels and looks rough to the touch and you don't know if the paint is safe for your kids.
On the bottom you don't see any printed words on it. The inside of the wheels are missing the branding text.
This is the same on the tender.

Comparing it to a real James toy. Although you cannot feel it on the screen, you can actually see that the paint is a lot smoother and higher quality. It has all the proper printed text on the bottom and wheels. Same as on the tender.
The worst part is the magnets are reversed on the knock off.  So if you have a mix of real ones and knock off ones, they will not align properly on your track.
Although the knock off train will fit on your wooden track and looks okay from afar, you should be aware of some telltale signs of knock off figures if you plan on purchasing items on ebay.
