Review: Play-Doh Fun Tub

We will look at the Play-doh Big Barrel set. This set is a Toys R Us exclusive.
It says it comes with 6 cans of Play-Doh and 15+ accessories. For Ages 3 and up. And it includes the Fun Factory. There are some general warnings on the back.

We get 4 Large cans of Playdoh in yellow, purple blue and green, and 2 small cans in red and white. A few geometric shape cutters: square, heart, triangle, circle, rectangle, and a star. A red tube to be used as a rolling pin. A yellow sculpting knife. A pair of plastic play-doh scissors. Some animal shape cutters: a dolphin, a crocodile, a giraffe, and a cow. It also has 2 plastic animals: an orange mole and a yellow caterpillar.

The major draw of this set is the included Fun Factory. Everyone should have this very useful tool. It is an play-doh extruder with a lot of different fun shapes. It comes with 2 extruding plates with shapes. It extrudes shapes like a star, a leaf, a hollow tube, sprials, and round, flat and square noodles. A total of 10 shapes to extrude.  To use it, lift the handle, and place the playdoh in the hole and press down. It is very easy for a toddler to use.  It also include a few shallow molds on the unit: a butterfly, a happy face and a car.

This is a great play-doh set. Lots of pieces, 16 oz of Play-Doh and the awesome fun factory. If your kids like play-doh, make sure they get a set with a fun factory. It is great for enhancing their creativity unlike other really specific themed sets.
